Rhode Island’s biotic resources are a invaluable asset to the state and everyone’s shared responsibility to safeguard. The Rhode Island Natural History Survey encourages the public to submit data on occurrences of species to our database: rare, non-native invasive species, or any other observations you may have are welcome and important additions. Currently, we accept submissions by filling out an online form or through our new Google map submission tool. You may also print a submission form and mail or fax it to us. Contributers to the Biota of Rhode Island Information System must agree to the terms of the RINHS Data Policy.
