| Invasive Species Sightings: Interactive map site from MIT Sea Grant Center for Coastal Resources. The maps available through the link below depict individual sightings of introduced species (non-native species) and cryptogenic species (species of unknown origin). They include data from the rapid assessment surveys discussed above, as well as from the public Hithchhikers Guide program, other research programs, and sightings by individual scientists. | |
| The Invasive Plant Atlas of New England’s (IPANE) mission is to create a comprehensive web-accessible database of invasive and potentially invasive plants in New England that will be continually updated by a network of professionals and trained volunteers. The database will facilitate education and research that will lead to a greater understanding of invasive plant ecology and support informed conservation management. An important focus of the project is the early detection of, and rapid response to, new invasions. A wide variety of species distribution maps, fact sheets, and historical data is available on the website. | |
| The Nonindigenous Aquatic Species (NAS) information resource for the United States Geological Survey. Located at the Center for Aquatic Resource Studies, this site has been established as a central repository for accurate and spatially referenced biogeographic accounts of nonindigenous aquatic species. |
