Habitat and Substrate: Partial shade, on soil, often among mosses.

Rhode Island Status: Collected once on soil-covered granite rock.

Pollution Tolerance: Unknown, but found along a heavily traveled roadway.

Notes: Not previously reported in Rhode Island.
