Habitat and Substrate: In open areas, usually on soil, occasionally on wood.

Rhode Island Status: Common.

Pollution Tolerance: Intermediate to tolerant.

Collection Site(s): Tuckerman Park, South Kingstown (#4959); Buck Hill Wildlife Management Area, Burrillville (#5224); First Baptist Church at Cross Mills, Charlestown (#5272); Pawtucket River Pine Barrens, Richmond (#5295); Blue Pond, Hopkinton (#5313); SR-146, North Smithfield (#5630).

Notes: Previously reported in Rhode Island by Greene (2000).
