Habitat and Substrate: Partial shade, on bark of trees.

Rhode Island Status: Uncommon.

Pollution Tolerance: Unknown.

Collection Site(s): Schoolhouse Pond/Deep Pond, Charlestown (#4865); Nicholas Farm, Coventry (#5350); George Parker Woodlands, Coventry (#5583).

Notes: Previously reported in Rhode Island by Flenniken (1968b). Specimens collected appear well developed and healthy.
