Habitat and Substrate: Open to partial shade, on twigs, branches, and trunks of trees, especially conifers.

Rhode Island Status: Uncommon.

Pollution Tolerance: Sensitive.

Collection Site(s): Queen River, Exeter (#5024); Big River Wildlife Management Area, West Greenwich (#5162, #5558).

Notes: Previously reported by Bennett (1888), Hebert (Flenniken 1968a), and Flenniken (1968b).
