Habitat and Substrate: Open to partial shade, on twigs, branches, and trunks of trees, especially conifers.

Rhode Island Status: Collected once.

Pollution Tolerance: Sensitive.

Collection Site(s): Big River Wildlife Management Area, West Greenwich (#5163).

Notes: Not previously reported in Rhode Island.
